Social Housing Planned Works Site Manager £30 - £38 per hour

Our client, a leading social housing provider, is seeking an exceptional Site Manager to join their thriving planned works team. This exciting role will involve overseeing a range of planned maintenance projects, including:

  • Void property refurbishments
  • Kitchen and bathroom upgrades
  • Accessibility adaptations
  • Energy efficiency improvements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and supervise all aspects of planned works projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing sector.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT literate with experience using relevant software packages.
  • Valid SMSTS, SSSTS, and First Aid certificates.
  • Hold relevant construction qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Construction Site Supervision).
  • Valid CSCS card.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field.
  • Experience in managing void property refurbishments.
  • Knowledge of building regulations relating to accessibility.
