Principal Design Engineer

A growing Engineering company are hiring a Principal Design Engineer to join their team working on a variety of power and substation projects. The company specialise in the Power, Renewables and Rail sector across the UK and have a number projects in the pipeline.

As a Principal Design Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects including substations, Overhead Lines, rail electrification and onshore/offshore windfarms. The company are looking for the following experience:

• M&E bias however civils background will be considered
• Experience working on HV substation projects (132kv and above)
• Good understanding of DNO and National Grid processes beneficial
• Completion of UK power projects preferred

The Principal Design Engineer role will offer:

• Salary up to £85,000
• Hybrid working with 2-3 days a week based in the office (office based near Watford)
