CarmichaelUK is recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a stations upgrade project in London. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile infrastructure programme improving vital transport links in the capital.

• Lead and manage ground investigation works, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to spec

• Develop and review methodologies

• Oversee setting out and engineering controls on-site

• Coordinate with design and delivery teams to ensure works progress in line with programme

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the project s quality, health, safety and environmental standards

• Contribute to the preparation of task briefings, ITPs and risk assessments

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Previous experience in major rail, civils, or stations upgrade projects

• Strong knowledge of groundworks and ground investigation procedures

• Comfortable managing subcontractors and liaising with multidisciplinary teams

• CSCS card and SSSTS/SMSTS preferred
