School Caretaker - St Albans

Timeplan Services are delighted to be working with a lovely junior school in St Albans who are currently seeking a Caretaker to join their team on a 12 week temp to perm basis.

This will be a hands on and fast paced role, whereby the successful candidate will be required to do a number of different things to maintain the smooth running of the school, its premises, and its facilities.

These can include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school site, by fixing things that need repairing, changing bins, litter-picks etc
• Hands on Manual work including basic repairs using hand tools, generic handy man work
• Performing regular walks of the school premises to ensure safety and security, dealing with any issues encountered which may be unsafe
• Regular checks of school equipment such as taps, water fountains and more
• All other "standard" caretaker responsibilities
