IT System Administrator

Location: London - Hybrid 3 days on site 2 days from home.
Salary: 42,000.00 to 47,000.00 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm)

About the Role
My client, a renowned organisation in their sector, is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator with a strong focus on networking to join their team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing and improving the organisation's network infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity throughout their operations.

The position also involves supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments, with a focus on implementing best practices for IT security.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network systems, including wired and wireless networks, firewalls, and routers.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPN connections and enhance network performance.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint) and Azure Active Directory.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot IT issues, document configurations, and collaborate on IT projects.

About You
The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven experience in IT systems administration, with expertise in networking and security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive approach to implementing IT security and maintaining compliance.

Experience with Linux and scripting tools like PowerShell is desirable but not essential.
