Deputy Manager Epsom 31,000

Join a leading provider of residential care services for adults with learning disabilities. The 4 bed service is currently undergoing and is going to look mega on completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the tone and culture of the service, promoting a person-centered approach and ensuring the well-being of our residents
  • Manage a team of 8-10 staff, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure they deliver exceptional care and maintain a positive working environment
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, including managing budgets, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure the service meets regulatory standards and continuously improves
  • Develop and implement individual care plans for each resident, ensuring their needs and preferences are met
  • Act as a point of contact for any concerns or complaints, addressing them promptly and effectively
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance the service and achieve business goals
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role in a similar setting, preferably with experience in learning disabilities
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in maintaining compliance
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable
