Warehouse Despatch Lead

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who's looking for a hands-on Despatch Team Leader to take charge of their busy despatch department.

This is a key role overseeing the full despatch process - from packing and sorting to client liaison and delivery coordination. You'll lead a small team, ensure quality standards are met, and keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the production team
• Manage despatch, delivery, and logistics (including imports/exports)
• Prepare orders, invoices, and fulfil customer requirements
• Maintain accurate stock records and control goods in/out
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines
• Ensure quality control, training, and health & safety standards
• Process improvement

• Previous experience in despatch, logistics, or warehouse supervision
• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage workloads and motivate a team
