Role Summary

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and growing Independent Financial Adviser firm in Surrey. Working within the existing Paraplanning team, this is a varied and dynamic role with exposure to HNW and complex financial planning cases. You will have an excellent track record as a Paraplanner working with an Independent Financial Adviser or Wealth Management business, using your technical expertise in all aspects of financial planning. Must have a professional attitude, with meticulous attention to detail and a solution focused mindset. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the Financial Advisers.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse client information from Fact Finds, existing records and meeting notes
  • Conduct advanced financial analysis, cashflow modelling, pension & investment research and IHT planning
  • Support advisers ahead of client meetings/reviews and analyse client's existing portfolios
  • Research products and services to make suitable recommendations
  • Prepare suitability reports with appropriate disclosures and illustrations, including but not exclusively; new investments, transfers, drawdown, IHT and protection business
  • Attend client meetings with financial advisers when required
  • Work closely with all members of the team to ensure timely business processing and submission
  • Keep up to date with applicable legislation, best practice and ensure Compliance aligns with regulatory standards
  • Maintain relationships with product and service providers
  • Active involvement within the in-house Investment Committee
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (preferably hold or be studying towards Level 6 Advanced Diploma)
  • Must have at least 4 years' experience as a Paraplanner
  • Experience with Intelliflo or other back-office systems, Wrap Platforms, FE Analytics, Cashflow Planning software and MS Office
  • Technical competence in investments, pensions, tax allowances, protection, trusts and IHT
  • Conscientious and diligent with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and in writing
  • Team player
  • Locally based or within a reasonable commutable distance from the office

IFA Administrator - Surrey (Office-Based)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a highly regarded and professional Financial Planning business in Surrey. This is a fully office-based role and ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, team-focused environment and is confident supporting Financial Advisers day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

General administration support for the Financial Advisers

Inputting and maintaining the back-office system

Ensuring client files are kept up to date and meet Compliance standards

Preparing Illustrations, key features and application forms

Processing new business, placing trades, submitting pension and investment transfers

Preparing letters of authority

Contacting Providers and liaising with clients

Preparing valuations and performance reports

Preparing client reviews

Compile client meeting packs

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 2 year's experience working for an IFA

Excellent attention to detail

Conscientious and diligent

Preferred experience with Intelligent Office and Wrap Platforms

Working knowledge of Word and Excel

Aware of applicable legislation, guidance and best practice

Excellent command of English, both verbal and in writing

Team player

Punctual, polite and well presented

Locally based or within a reasonable commutable distance from the office (as a fully office based role)
