Compartmentation Surveyor

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, Monday-Friday

Firntec, Ventro, and LivGreen are an exciting group of companies focused on fire-safety services and net zero retrofit. As a Compartmentation Surveyor, you will be responsible for the assessment of building compartmentation and identifying areas of improvement to maintain the relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Survey existing buildings to determine their condition, identify and analyse defects, including proposals for repair in order to meet relevant safety standards
• Complete surveys within set timescales
• Accurately assess and record defects and provide clear remedial notes for sales team
• Carry out health check inspections, asset labelling, and write up reports for these as required
• Survey installations if required
• Work closely with the Health Check Manager, Operations Support Team and communicate effectively with the office
• Report to Health Check Manager on a daily basis
• Provide technical support with regards to properties
• Utilise knowledge of the buildings to assist the Project Manager

The successful candidate will:

• Knowledge of current fire safety regulations
• Technical knowledge and competence
• Logical and practical mind
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Ability to analyse problems in order to identify solutions
• Driving licence
• Ideally have FDIS
