The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated SEN Teacher to lead a small class of pupils in Years 3 to 6. You will be supported by a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and will play a vital role in creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver personalised, interactive lessons that meet the diverse needs of each pupil
Encourage independence, self-expression, and confident decision-making
Work collaboratively with TAs and other staff to maintain a supportive classroom culture
Use your creativity and experience to help shape a curriculum that excites and motivates young learners
What We're Looking For:
A fully qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong understanding of SEN and ASD
Proven experience in supporting autistic pupils, ideally in a specialist or mainstream setting
A proactive, patient, and innovative approach to teaching
Commitment to creating a respectful and empowering learning experience
