Export Despatch Office Administrator

Contractual Position Salary: £16.35/hr UMB Job Type: Contract 5+ MonthsAbout the Role:We are seeking adetail-oriented Export Despatch Office Administrator with expertise ininternational shipping processes and logistics operations. The successfulcandidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth export shipments,handling customs documentation, and maintaining compliance with internationaltrade regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Check and amend customs invoice paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor work queues in SAP and update records accordingly.
• Amend and update orders in WMCS for efficient processing.
• Book export shipments with carriers and prepare necessary export documentation.
• Physically check and prepare items and pallets for shipment.
• Liaise with account teams regarding export shipments and logistics coordination.
• Create customs declarations prior to export despatch to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of international shipping processes and customs regulations.
• Experience in logistics operations, including export documentation.
• Proficiency in SAP and WMCS for order management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external carriers.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
