A project manager is required for a main contractor fit out building and construction company, based in London. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking project manager to work on a project based in London and is accessible by transport links.

What does a Project manager role entail?

• Overseeing progress of the construction site on a day-to-day basis from initial phases to handover.
• Ensuring all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget as well as to the required quality standards.
• Managing client relationships through regular communication.
• Effectively managing client relationships, coordinating a variety of teams, both internal and external teams and mitigating risks.

Requirements for the Project manager role:

• Previous experience in a project manager - fit out role in the industry to be knowledgeable of the required processes.
• Strong leadership skills and prior management skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as problem solving skills under pressure
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field and/or relevant experience.
• Proficient in key management software, strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
• Chartered status with a professional body (RICS, CIOB).
