A fantastic Finance Assistant opportunity has arisen with a health-based charity based in Central London. This is a permanent role which offers flexible hybrid working (3 days in the office per week).
Your new role
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 1 year of relevant finance experience.A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Prior experience in a finance-related role or internship is a plus but not essential.What you'll get in return
