Mechanical Inspector

Location: Denham, Middlesex
Salary: £37,000k - £40,000k per year
Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00.

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Inspector to join the Inspection Team within a leading engineering and manufacturing company. This role involves managing First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

• Plan and execute First Article Inspections and Patrol Inspection Audits

• Ensure FAIs comply with AS9102 & QAI-148 standards

• Analyze engineering drawings and 2D/3D images

• Utilize Qpulse QPM, SAP, or equivalent systems

• Maintain inspection records and support quality improvements

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering (Aerospace background preferred)

• Quality Engineering/Inspection experience

• Knowledge of AS9100 & AS9102 processes

• Strong skills in engineering drawings & technical interpretation
