Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Our client is looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis, working night shifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled forklift operator to secure a stable role with a competitive salary.

Location: Reading

Hours: 18:00 - 04:00

Salary: 30,000 - 33,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and transport goods safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Handling stock with care and ensuring accurate placement in designated areas
• Assisting with stock control, order picking, and inventory checks
• Conducting pre-use inspections of equipment and reporting any faults
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skills and ability to work night shifts
