Accounts Assistant

The role primarily focuses on purchase ledger activities. Still, it offers plenty of variety, including sales ledger and general finance tasks across multiple entities. You will join a friendly finance team reporting directly to the Financial Controller using Sage 200. This is an exciting opportunity to support a company during its early stages.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Code and process a high volume of invoices onto Sage
• Matching invoices to purchase orders
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Weekly payment run
• Allocate receipts
• Credit control
• Monthly review of sales ledger
• Verify CIS
• Processing staff expenses and credit card statements
• Ad hoc tasks

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

• Accounts Payable experience
• Strong communication skills
• Happy to get stuck in and support the wider finance team
• AAT preferred but not essential
