The Role:

Long Term Futures is seeking an experienced and motivated KS2 Primary Teacher to join a large primary school in Waltham Forest. This is an immediate start opportunity, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a teacher with strong KS2 experience, ideally with experience in Year 6, who is confident in lesson planning, classroom management, and supporting students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons across KS2
• Provide targeted support for Year 6 students, ensuring they are prepared for SATs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student progress
• Assess and track student attainment, adapting teaching strategies where needed
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and the SLT to enhance learning outcomes
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement, creating a structured and stimulating classroom

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK teaching experience
• Strong KS2 teaching experience, with Year 6 experience being highly desirable
• A confident and adaptable approach to classroom management
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Additional Information:

• Full-time role, Monday to Friday
• Paid up to 200 per day, term time only
• Based in Waltham Forest, London, with excellent transport links
• Immediate start, with potential for a permanent position
