Gas Heating Service & Repair Engineer

• Adhering to the Gas Repair / Servicing Daily Disciplines and understanding Company expectations.
• Ensure all work is carried out within the allocated time frame to a high standard and quality and communicate progress to colleagues.
• Any contraventions to Gas Safety Regulations to be reported to your line manager and documented.
• Ensure all works carried out comply with current Gas Safe (installation and use) Regulations, Health & Safety, environmental and relevant legislation's.
• Comply & adhere to all Health and Safety regulations including PPE, COSHH, and RAMS
• Conduct yourself appropriately, ensure the corporate code of conduct & brand guidelines are adhered to (i.e., punctuality, clean vehicle, uniforms and site appearance)
• Maintain appropriate van stock and ensure orders are placed with suppliers and comply with the group specifications.
• Ensure you maintain accurate job records in line with company and legislative requirements.
• To comply with all company policies, procedures and standards
• Be available for the Out of Hours (OOH) standby cover.
• Keeping up to date with mandatory compliance training and being responsible for 100% attendance
• Positive feedback from customers, colleagues, contractors and external stakeholders
• Understanding and adhering to company policies & procedures and meeting health & safety requirements and regulations

• Takes ownership of issues/problems and sees them through to a satisfactory conclusion.

Qualifications

• CCN1: ACS Gas Safe - Core Gas Safety Certificate
• CEN1: ACS Gas Safe - Central Heating Boilers
• CKR1: ACS Gas Safe - Cookers and Hobs
• HTR1: ACS Gas Safe - Gas Fires
• WAT1: ACS Gas Safe - Water Heaters
• CPA1: ACS Gas Safe - Flue Gas Analysis
• UHW: Unvented Hot Water Cylinders
• Part L & Part P advantageous
• Awareness in: manual handling, ladder safety, working at height, abrasive wheels, first aid, health and safety
• Experience of working within occupied properties
