The Role

We are one of the UK's leading dry powder manufacturers, looking to appoint Senior Production Supervisors to our growing team.

As a Senior Production Supervisor at Drytec Spray Drying Ltd., you will oversee daily operations and ensure efficient, high-quality production. You will play a key role in training and developing our Trainee Process Engineers and supporting the Production Manager and existing Shift Supervisors.

Work on a rotating shift pattern:

• Day shifts: 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00
• Night shift: 22:00 to 06:00 (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support production teams across day and night shifts
• Oversee the setup, operation, and cleaning of commercial spray dryers
• Provide training and ongoing development for Trainee Process Engineers
• Ensure production targets are met without compromising safety or quality
• Collaborate with Shift Supervisors to improve processes and resolve issues

We are able to produce a wide range of products to exceptional quality and hygiene standards for volumes from a few Kgs to many Tonnes. We have tremendous experience in providing spray drying services to the Food Industry including Flavours, Individual Ingredients, Pharmaceutical Excipients, Colours and Nutritional products.

The Person

• At least 5 years experience as a supervisor in an engineering or manufacturing company.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams.
• Knowledge of production processes and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, or 22:00-06:00).
• There is some heavy lifting involved in the role, and as such you must be physically fit enough to lift and carry 25Kg product bags.
