Are you an experienced and passionate SEN teacher ready to make a lasting impact on pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)? A nurturing and well-resourced Primary SEN School in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated PMLD Teacher to join their team this September - with the option to start earlier.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a school that provides an inclusive, child-centred learning environment for pupils with complex needs including PMLD, sensory impairments, and significant medical or physical needs.

• Plan, deliver, and assess highly personalised learning experiences for pupils with PMLD

• Use a multisensory and therapeutic approach to support communication, cognition, and engagement

• Collaborate closely with a team of TAs, therapists, and medical professionals

• Implement and adapt individual education plans (IEPs) in line with EHCPs

• Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment

• Support pupils with personal care needs where required

• Engage with families and external agencies to ensure holistic support

• Track and report on progress using appropriate SEN assessment frameworks

• QTS is preferred; other relevant teaching qualifications will be considered

• Experience working with children with PMLD or complex SEN is essential

• A creative, flexible, and compassionate teaching style

• Ability to lead and inspire a team of support staff in a specialist setting

• Knowledge of AAC, sensory integration, and alternative communication methods is desirable

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion principles

• Pay in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS), dependent on experience
