Service Technician - Agricultural Machinery
Location: Colchester

Prime Appointments is working with a leading agricultural dealer seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their team in Colchester.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and repairing software, electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other mechanical faults
• Servicing and maintaining JCB and other agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety and reliability
• Providing detailed reports on completed work, including photographs and accurate time records
• Using diagnostic software via laptop (training provided)
• Identifying potential issues and recommending additional services where appropriate

• Experience in agriculture, commercial, or construction engineering, particularly in vehicle maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills across various mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
