A high-growth retail brand is looking for a Product Development Manager to spearhead new product strategies and lead a small team of talented developers. You'll be the creative engine behind future ranges, working directly with national retailers and key internal stakeholders.
This role would suit an experienced senior level product developer or a senior retail buyer with hands-on product development experience, ready to take the lead in shaping commercially successful, trend-driven ranges for major global retailers.Key responsibilities will include:
- Own product strategy for 2026, 2027 and beyond - delivering compelling propositions across seasonal and everyday ranges.
- Develop breakthrough ranges for top UK retailers such as Tesco, M&S, and more - shaping product stories that sell.
- Collaborate closely with commercial leads to turn briefs into brilliant ranges that meet price points, hit margin targets and stand out in-store.
- Lead and inspire a small team of Product Developers - coaching, managing and unlocking their creative potential.
- Brief designers and suppliers confidently, knowing how to balance trend, manufacturability, and retailer demands.
- Balance creative vision with commercial reality, ensuring everything from concept through to delivery works for mass retail.
- Stay agile and responsive in a fast-paced environment, always pushing for the next great idea.
- Act as a trusted partner to senior commercial leads, presenting to key buyers and building strong external relationships.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience at a senior level in product development, ideally across seasonal or FMCG categories.
