Shipping Co-Ordinator

Our Client is currently recruiting for a dedicated and organised Shipping Co-Ordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with customers to discuss freight options and meet their needs.
• Gather necessary information to ensure accurate shipping measures are in place.
• Raise shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Produce manifests and collection notes for our warehouse team.
• Record information in daily spreadsheets to maintain accurate records.
• Obtain and upload proof of exports and other relevant information into our portal.
• Undertake any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the department.

About You:

• Previous experience in export shipping is preferred but not essential.
• Well-organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively within tight deadlines.
• Ability to work methodically, with excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to changing priorities and challenges with a calm and focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a small, close-knit team.
