Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a driver with their own car to provide high-quality care to individuals in both care home and home care settings. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively with clients to enhance their quality of life. A valid driving licence is preferred as the role may involve travelling to clients' homes within Redhill and Reigate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Foster a supportive and positive environment for clients, encouraging independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
• Utilise app for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
• Engage in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
• Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between client locations.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
