• Typically, this person will be a CNC Machinist working with a milling machine where precision and consistency is critical.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the CNC machinist:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
• Setting up and calibrating CNC milling machines
• Selecting and installing cutting tools and workpieces
• Adjusting machine settings to ensure accurate cutting, drilling, and shaping
• Monitoring the machining process to ensure quality and precision
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
• Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, CMMs)
• Maintaining safety and quality control standards

Requirements Of the CNC Machinist:

• UK based
• Minimum 2 years of CNC milling machine operation experience.
• Ability to set the machine, tools, and fixtures, and make small adjustments when necessary.
• Good understanding of G-code.
• Experience in composites and metallic is advantageous.
