The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the worlds largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. Overview of the role:
As Group Consolidation Accountant you are responsible for maintaining the financial reporting within our group of companies. Your role will require you to consolidate the financial statements of a number of subsidiary companies within the Wonderfield Group. You are responsible for preparing the group's consolidated accounts, supporting the audit process and working with the external auditors to ensure that accounts are filed with the relevant authorities

Key Accountabilities:
• Close month end in line in accordance with our timetable.
• Preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts for group companies.
• Prepare matrix of all intra group movements.
• Consolidate all companies to a high standard in accordance with IFRS
• Deliver high quality accounting services so that the reporting results are robust and reliable.
• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of monthly group management accounts for the board.
• Review the balance sheets of various entities across the Group and ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained.
• Governance and calculation of global accounting policies and standards, and transfer pricing.
• Support the UK teams in delivering audit requests, and assist with auditors’ queries and deliverables for the group.
• Assistance with preparation of high quality statutory accounts for submission to Companies House.
Key Measures of success:
• Timely and accurate delivery of Group consolidation month over month
• Successful relationships built with divisional finance teams
• Full understanding of Group balance sheet and profit and loss account
• Clean audit opinions in respect of Group matters
