EICR Electrician

Due to the continued growth of our business and recent acquisition of a large number of properties, we are thrilled to announce our newly created permanent roles for Electrical Technicians to join our EICR/Compliance Testing team at Paradigm Housing Group. This is your opportunity to play a key role in upholding the highest electrical safety and compliance standards across our properties, ensuring safe and well-maintained homes for our residents.

About the Role

As a key member of our EICR/Compliance Electrical Team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring 100% electrical compliance for all Paradigm properties. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRS), installations, servicing, repairs, and partial rewires of domestic properties.
• Performing annual emergency lighting tests and other duties as required by the business.
• Delivering a 'first-time fix' service, ensuring minimal disruption for our residents and providing outstanding customer care.

Essential qualifications/experience we are looking for include:

• Extensive experience in domestic installations, periodic inspections, fault finding, servicing, repairs, and rewires.
• A strong understanding of relevant legislation, including construction, building regulations, and health and safety.
• Clear/effective communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues.
• A full, valid driving licence.
• Essential certifications: City and Guilds 2365 Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent), and 17th & 18th Edition qualification. Apprenticeship route or time spent as an electrician with active experience (A minimum of 1 year's experience in inspection and testing). NVQ level 3
• Please note that holding the above essential certifications is essential for this role. Unfortunately, we are unable to progress applications that do not meet these minimum requirements.
• Preferred certifications: City and Guilds 2391 inspection and testing (or equivalent).
