A fast-growing, product-led tech company is entering a major scale-up phase following a recent acquisition by a global fitness platform. They're now expanding engineering capacity to support a surge in users and platform demand.

This is a contract opportunity for Contract Software Engineers to join at multiple levels to help build and scale a public-facing app used by millions worldwide.

There will be several phases to the overall program and there is real long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strengthen test automation and coverage across web & mobile
• Scale and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Debug and performance tune core app code in preparation for 10x user growth
• Collaborate on building new features for a global fitness-focused audience
• Ensure platform readiness for scale (infra, delivery, reliability)

Tech Stack:

• React Native, React,
• TypeScript, JavaScript
• Python
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• AWS (Serverless architecture)

Ideal Profile:

• Strong experience with React Native in production environments
• Comfortable with end-to-end testing, CI/CD tooling, and cloud-based deployments
• Previous experience working on consumer-facing or high-scale apps
• Based in the UK and available for 2 days/week onsite
