We have a fantastic opportunity for a Accounts Assistant to join a highly respected and dynamic engineering organisation in Bedfordshire.

This business is a leading engineering business, working in conjunction with major global businesses. With internal progression at the heart of their culture, this role has become available due to a well-earned promotion within the finance team.

The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be supporting a broad range of financial and administrative tasks in a busy finance department. Responsibilities include:

• Processing accounts payable transactions, including invoices and payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations using SAP
• Managing company Barclaycard expense processes
• Assisting with prepayments, accruals, revaluations and other month-end activities
• Supporting bank transaction processing
• Collaborating with procurement and commercial teams on aged creditors and debtors
• Assisting with audit preparation and wider finance tasks as needed

About You:

• Actively studying AAT (study support available)
• Strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage a varied workload
• Basic Excel knowledge training will be provided
