M&E Project / Senior Project Surveyor

We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Project / Senior Project Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of their projects. You will take full ownership of all cost planning, review contractor submissions, handle client variations, and agree on final accounts specifically for the services components of their diverse portfolio. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of this role to include;

• Undertake comprehensive cost planning and cost control throughout project lifecycles.
• Review and assess contractor submissions to ensure accuracy and value for money.
• Manage client variations, including negotiation and agreement of costs.
• Prepare and agree on final accounts for the services elements of projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of services within overall project goals.
• Provide expert advice on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and risk management.
• Maintain strong client relationships through transparent communication and effective stakeholder management.

The ideal applicant will possess;

• Proven experience as a Project or Senior Project Surveyor within the M&E sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, quantity surveying, and commercial management.
• Excellent understanding of reviewing contractor submissions and managing client variations.
• Ability to work across multiple sectors, including commercial, retail, and residential.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Professional qualifications such as MRICS or equivalent are highly desirable.
