Director of Data to lead the charge on governance, quality, automation, and analytics as they scale.This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical capability and business impact. The successful candidate will drive the adoption of best-in-class data practices across multiple agile teams and ensure the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of the company's data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead development of automated reporting and analytics tools
- Shape and enforce data governance and quality standards
- Champion data ownership, stewardship, and compliance initiatives
- Work cross-functionally to integrate metadata and taxonomy strategies
- Build training materials and guide agile teams in embedding data quality at every stage
- Translate data insights into commercial opportunities and operational improvements
- Support business owners with profiling, validation, and documentation best practices
Experience: - 5+ years in a data leadership or analytics-focused role
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, SAS and tools like Talend, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere
- Proven experience managing large datasets and solving complex data challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence and inspire change across technical and commercial teams
- Previous leadership experience with a track record of delivery
