Description

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Perform variance analysis and comment on significant deviations
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting exercises
• Assist in cost control and margin analysis
• Help to develop and improve financial processes
• Participate in ad-hoc financial projects as required
• Work closely with non-finance departments to improve understanding of financial performance
• Maintain the highest level of integrity and accuracy in financial reporting

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A relevant degree or professional qualification in Accounting & Finance
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good knowledge of financial accounting systems and processes
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team
