A growing manufacturing business is searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator in the greater Maidstone area
Your Role:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to: - Supporting senior managers in the seamless daily running of the supply chain
- Collaborating with client Account Managers and category suppliers to coordinate amendments to customer orders
- Maintaining service level KPIs and trackers
- Setting up new products and customers within the designated ERP system, as well as entering PO's and process works orders in the system and creating purchase orders for new arrivals, raising delivery notes, creating ASN labels and assigning booking references on deliveries
- Developing supplier load plans, and ensuring order confirmations are amended where needed
- Communicating with supplier to get confirmation on product volume and varieties
- Ensuring that both pack programs and raw material schedules are emailed to both the packing sites and logistics teams
- Ensuring that adequate stock is available at packing sites to meet order demands, as well as acquiring stock inventory levels from 3rd party packers and pass this information over to the logistics teams
- Processing sales orders for any product sent to 3rd party packers
- Placing customer crate orders, as well as overseeing the hire and de-hire process for both 3rd party packers and direct suppliers
- Managing stock control regarding customer crates for 3rd party packers and direct suppliers
- Managing the suppliers stock control systems for their arrivals as needed, and updating master arrivals data to support the preparation of season reviews
- On an ad hoc basis, preparing grower finalisations and returns, and processing cost invoices
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria: - A qualification within supply chain or relevant would be ideal
- Previous experience within a comparable logistics or supply chain coordination role
- Exposure to the FMCG sector would be an advantage
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with using ERP systems, Microsoft Outlook and other software packages
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical capabilities, with a problem-solving approach to work and heightened attention to detail
