Shift Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager based in Luton for one of our clients on a 12 month Maternity Contract cover. Our client is a well-established wholesale distributor.

Summary of the Shift Manager role

Salary: £40,000
Location: Luton
Type of Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: 4 on 4 off, working 3am to 3pm

Responsibilities of the Shift Manager

• Optimising resource/staffing deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and support the team in following the target operating model.
• Set and purpose targets and KPIs.
• Performance analysis.
• Lead and mentor team members, providing regular feedback, recognition and constructive guidance.
• Resource planning.

Requirements for a successful Shift Manager

• Proven Managerial experience within a KPI driven environment.
• Strong ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent leadership skills with demonstrable experience leading teams.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
