An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Project Support professional to join a thriving team working on change projects for medium to large pension schemes. Projects include GMP equalisation, member option exercises, benefit changes, scheme mergers, and wind-up. This role offers the chance to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external organisations while gaining valuable project delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in the delivery of pension projects.
- Build and monitor project plans, track progress, and produce reports.
- Assist with budget tracking, billing, and quality control.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
- Maintain project documentation and audit trails.
- Schedule post-project reviews and capture lessons learned.
- Promote operational excellence and encourage team collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience in pensions project or programme delivery.
- Knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Experience liaising with clients, third parties, and internal teams.
