Job Requirements/Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Project Support professional to join a thriving team working on change projects for medium to large pension schemes. Projects include GMP equalisation, member option exercises, benefit changes, scheme mergers, and wind-up. This role offers the chance to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external organisations while gaining valuable project delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in the delivery of pension projects.
  • Build and monitor project plans, track progress, and produce reports.
  • Assist with budget tracking, billing, and quality control.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
  • Maintain project documentation and audit trails.
  • Schedule post-project reviews and capture lessons learned.
  • Promote operational excellence and encourage team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience in pensions project or programme delivery.
  • Knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Experience liaising with clients, third parties, and internal teams.
