About the Role

We are seeking a Data Center Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational oversight across multiple data centre sites.This role is critical in ensuring the security, safety, reliability, and operational excellence of our facilities and infrastructure.

You'll work closely with the Data Center Deployment Lead to take operational handover of completed sites, establishing standards and processes for ongoing management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple data centre sites, ensuring consistent performance and availability.
  • Manage and maintain site access control and physical security in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate facilities management activities, including maintenance schedules, vendor management, and on-site support.
  • Oversee power and cooling infrastructure, ensuring systems operate efficiently and within optimal performance parameters.
  • Monitor site compliance, safety, and environmental conditions, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions where required.
  • Lead operational readiness and handover of newly commissioned sites.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and escalation processes.
  • Support audits, inspections, and reporting to ensure full adherence to internal and external standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, deployment, and IT operations teams to maintain uptime and service excellence.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience managing data center or critical infrastructure operations.
  • Strong understanding of power, cooling, and building management systems.
  • Experience implementing and managing security and access control systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, health and safety regulations, and monitoring systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or facilities engineering is advantageous.
