Pricing Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

Salary up to £40k DOE

I am currently recruiting for a Pricing Co-Ordinator to join a well-established freight forwarding and logistics company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and industry experience to support daily client demands including quotations, billing queries, and reporting in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pricing and ad hoc rate quotations to overseas partners and customers

• Prepare and submit spot rate quotes and tender pricing

• Analyse and report on quotation trends and statistics

• Transfer confirmed shipments to the appropriate operational teams

• Develop and maintain pricing tools (spreadsheets, calculators, databases)

• Communicate pricing updates to relevant support departments

• Track and report monthly on the success rate of issued quotes

• Identify and escalate sales leads to the sales team

Skills:

• Previous experience within the freight forwarding and logistics industry

• Good knowledge of import/export and freight modes (Air, Sea, Road)

• Ideally experienced in a pricing-focused role within freight

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Advanced Excel skills essential (spreadsheets, formulas, etc.)

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in a busy environment

• Confident in building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally
