We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the learning and development of our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
• Assist with the preparation of learning resources and materials.
• Offer one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and outside of the classroom.
• Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Support children with additional needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
• Assist with classroom management, encouraging positive behaviour.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Supervise students during break times and lunch, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The Ideal Candidate - Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential).
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for working with children and helping them to achieve their best.
• An understanding of primary school curriculum and classroom activities.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting children's needs.
