Our client is seeking a hands-on, process-driven Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Basildon, Essex. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, drives efficiency through continuous improvement, and leads by example.

As Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals. You'll manage storage, goods in and out, stock, dispatch, with a focus on KPIs, process optimisation, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all warehouse operations, from inbound deliveries to outbound shipments

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, using lean methodologies where appropriate

Maintain accurate inventory control and implement stock management processes

Monitor, report and act on KPIs, ensuring targets are met or exceeded

Ensure full compliance with H&S, quality, and operational standards

Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role

Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory systems

A data-led approach to performance management and improvement

Experience with WMS systems and Excel reporting (Knowledge or Experience)

Excellent leadership and communication skills

A commitment to health & safety compliance
