Supply Chain Coordinator Vacancy - Location: Hertfordshire

Join our dynamic Supply Chain team as a Supply Chain Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring a stable supply of critical medicines to the patients of a leading pharmaceutical company. This developmental position offers the opportunity to manage a small portfolio of products and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Day-to-day of the role: - Support the department with SAP Master data management, including the creation of new SKUs, PIRs, BOMs, and ECRs.
- Assist with the monthly forecast upload into SAP ERP system.
- Initially support and eventually plan supply to global affiliates in line with regulatory requirements and financial guidelines.
- Support in placing Transfer orders, Customer orders, Production orders, and manage exceptions.
- Assist with the issuing of forecasts and placing of Purchase orders for Bulk products/API in line with the agreed demand plan.
- Maintain the QC Monday board to assist in priority setting.
- Assist with the review of capacity with Production to smooth the demand flow during periods of constraint.
- Provide cover for the Supply Chain Manager and ad-hoc assistance to the Purchasing Manager.
- Represent both the organisation and the Supply Chain group through professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Undertake any other duties as requested to help achieve strategic objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in a similar supply chain environment with some knowledge of production or supply planning
- Confident communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication links.
- Computer literacy, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ERP system experience (SAP) is an advantage.
