About the Anthro JV:
The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London?s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.

About the Role:
Anthro JV is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor (Person in Charge) to oversee and directly supervise day-to-day mechanical operations. This role will be responsible for managing/supervising teams of Mechanical operatives in the testing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of the Installation of mechanical Systems: The ability piping systems, HVAC systems, Valves, Pumps and safety systems.
• Supervision of the Testing of mechanical Systems: The ability to undertake testing of all Mechanical installations.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify mechanical faults, troubleshoot problems, and carry out necessary repairs or upgrades to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance work, including compliance reports and test results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with construction teams and other contractors to coordinate installation work and ensure project timelines are met.
• Health, safety and compliance: Ensure high levels of health, safety and compliance are maintained at all times on site

Person Specification:

• Proven experience as an mechanical Supervisor, managing mechanical staff in undertaking various tasks/works.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds
• JIB Card or Skills card, NVQ Level 3
• SSSTS OR SMSTS

Competencies and Behaviours:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing time effectively.
