Admin Officer - Secondary School

Location: Plaistow, East London
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 4:12pm (some flexibility available)
Pay: £15 - £18 per hour, depending on experience
Parking: Available
Start: ASAP

Remedy Education is working with a Secondary PRU in Plaistow looking for an experienced and confident Admin Officer to join their team.

This is more than a standard school admin role, with some leadership responsibility involved, so we need someone who has plenty of common sense, uses their initiative and is comfortable taking ownership when needed.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous school administration experience
• Be confident using CPOMS and Bromcom - experience with SIMS will also be considered
• Be organised, proactive and able to use their own initiative
• Have a confident, strong personality and communicate well with staff, pupils and parents
• Be able to follow instructions while also knowing when to take responsibility
• Be comfortable working within a busy Secondary PRU environment
• Have strong general IT and administrative skills

Experience within PRU, SEMH, Alternative Provision or Secondary education would be highly beneficial.
