Salary: 110 - 130 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Start Date: 23rd April (Trial sessions available next week)
End Date: July 2025, with the potential to extend into the next school year

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Westminster to recruit an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for their KS1 and KS2 teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real impact on pupils' progress while working within a committed and friendly staff team.

We encourage applications from experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are ready to take on additional responsibility and transition into an HLTA role. While a Level 3 qualification is preferred, the school values hands-on experience and a proactive approach over formal qualifications.

• Lead a class for one day per week in KS1 and KS2.

• Deliver targeted interventions alongside class teachers.

• Create engaging learning resources to support academic progress.

• Work closely with the SENCo to assist pupils with SEN and EAL needs.

• Set learning targets and provide assessment feedback.

• Previous experience as an HLTA or LSA is desirable.

• Strong initiative and the ability to take on responsibility.

• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning is ideal but not essential.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
