Project Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of process improvement projects, developing detailed program with milestones for each project. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Project software and possess excellent time management abilities, and communication skills.

The role is expected to last a minimum of 3 months but is just the start of a program of improvement projects so the contract may be extended.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a data heavy environment and experience of developing process improvement plans.

The rate offered is negotiable. The role is available inside and outside IR35

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment on objectives.
• Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen challenges.
• Prepare regular status reports for management, highlighting key milestones and potential risks.
• Facilitate meetings with team members to discuss project updates and address any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilise MS Project.

Experience

• Proven experience in project planning or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
