BMS Engineer

Profectus Recruitment is supporting the search for a BMS Engineer to join a team delivering high-end Building Management System (BMS) solutions. Our client is an approved provider for Trend, Tridium and AAM products, known for innovative, sustainable automation systems. This is a field-based role with travel required.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated Trend specialist (ideally with Tridium AX/IQVision experience) to take on a broad, senior-level role covering system design, installation, and commissioning. The position also involves providing expert support to service clients and contributing to ongoing project development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission advanced Building Management Systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth delivery and system handover.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation, schematics and system designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Support existing service contracts and client relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within quality standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Trend Engineer.
• Strong understanding of Tridium AX / IQVision.
• Proven experience in BMS engineering, commissioning, and system design.
• Skilled in root cause analysis and system optimisation.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
