Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? Do you have the skills to support students in overcoming barriers to learning? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Bromley.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage positively with their education. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.

• Providing tailored one-to-one and small-group interventions to support students with behavioural needs.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive attitudes towards learning.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop individual behaviour support plans.
• Acting as a positive role model, encouraging students to build confidence and resilience.
• Supporting students in and out of the classroom to ensure their emotional and social development.
• Monitoring progress and reporting on students' behaviour and engagement.

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school or youth work setting.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
