Accounts Payable Manager
To lead our AP function and support our finance operations.
Role Overview: As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of finance within the property sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier account reconciliationsSupervise and support the AP team, ensuring high performance and adherence to deadlinesMaintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance with company policies and financial regulationsOversee month-end and year-end closing processes related to APAssist with cash flow forecasting and reportingImplement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiencyLiaise with auditors and support audit processes as requiredRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)Proven experience in an accounts payable role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacityExperience working in the property industry (desirable but not essential)Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practicesProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft ExcelExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBenefits:
