English Teacher

Remedy Education are actively recruiting for a knowledgeable and motivated English teacher for one of our well regarded secondary school based in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate and will be a long term vacancy starting Monday 20th January.

In the schools most recent OFSTED report they were given an overall grade of 'Outstanding' and were praised for providing extra support to those with special educational needs, the behaviour standards were also praised in their most recent report.

About the role:

Your role as an English teacher will involve teaching language and literature across KS3 and KS4. Share your extensive knowledge of English and help drive high results for those completing their GCSE's and A levels.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate and share ideas with other teachers in the department
• Teach English to a high standard to students across KS3 and KS4
• Provide support to students and assist them as they approach the exam period

Required attributes:

• An English degree along with qualified teaching status (QTS)
• Experience in teaching English up to KS3 and KS4 level
• High Level communication skills along with strong behaviour management
• Be passionate about English and be engaging with the students
