Assistant Warehouse Manager

Parsley in Time are a well established, expanding company with a great reputation. We are London based and supply to the hospitality industry across the UK and beyond. We are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee logistics at our south east London distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our Warehouse Manager to assure smooth flow of products in and out
• Help manage a team of drivers and warehouse operatives
• Ensuring a safe working environment for staff and visitors
• Using computerised systems to optimize efficent and accurate inventory
• Investigating and solving stock issues
• Assure timely deliveries to our customers
• Picking and packing of orders
• Any additional ad hoc tasks as required

What we are looking for:

• Strong attention to detail and solid maths skills are imperative
• Ability to use Windows based IT programs such as Word and Excel
• Good organisational skills
• Comfortable with physical tasks
• Ability to manage multiple jobs efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate at all levels of the company
• Forklift licence would be desirable but not essential as would a full UK driving licence

No direct experience neccassary as full training will be given. A can do attitude and willingness to learn is very important.

This is a full time on site position so the successful candidate needs to live within easy travelling distance of our business. It is a Monday to Friday role, from 07.00-17.00 with regular breaks during the day.
