Preferred Requirements:

• Provide support to the Head of Service and the wider Economic Development Team in the development and successful delivery of new approaches to business engagement and enterprise programmes and projects.
• Ensure the achievement of the boroughs Industrial Strategy and inclusive economy ambitions.
• Possess a strong understanding of the local economic landscape and the challenges faced by businesses in the area.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders.
• Bring a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to think creatively to address complex economic development challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in economic development, business support, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address economic development needs.
• A passion for driving positive change and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and sustainable local economy.
